At 52 years of age I should know better but as they say your never to old to try something new. I have been a keen biker for most of my adult life and completed two European tours a few years back. More recently, I rode an Aprilia RSV 1000 (04 model) down to Benidorm and back, not the most touring friendly bike I think you would agree. Thought that would be my last trip, or so I told the wife, until some silly sod came up with the idea of riding through Africa and after much discussion with my better half I decided to go for it . Alcohol has a lot to answer for.
